Bio
Nina Sky, the "Queens of catchy choruses," return to the scene with their new single "Sugar Daddy," off their sophomore release, The Musical . The bold hip-pop track showcases the R&B duo's sweet sass, all while promoting female independence and disdain for a man's monetary comforts. Produced by MTV's DJ Cipha Sounds and Canadian producer Solitair, "Sugar Daddy" throws Nina Sky back on the map making its entrance in clubs and on mix-shows across the nation.
Their second effort, The Musical, showcases the harmonious voices and soulful songwriting abilities of the two Latina ladies from Queens. With production from super-producers Ryan Leslie (Cassie, Usher, Snoop Dogg), Cool and Dre (Fat Joe, Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross), and Scott Storch (Chris Brown, Beyonce, 50 Cent) and features from Rick Ross, Dre, and Trey Songz, The Musical is set to bombard the music industry with Nina Sky's unexpected talents.
Upon entering the music industry in 2004, with their self-titled debut, the twin team climbed to a number one spot on Billboard's Dance charts with their 2004 summer staple "Move Ya Body." Nina Sky's club anthem "Turnin' Me On" and the reggaeton smash "Oye Mi Canto" also made entrances on Billboard's charts. The latter earned Nicole and Natalie Albino an ASCAP award for their songwriting skills on. Since their debut, the two have delivered successful collaborations with fellow artists The Alchemist, Sean Paul, Rupee, TOK, Pitbull, Mobb Deep and Ivy Queen.
